Hey Everyone,
Its Emani Mone and in this video I am performing an ear candling treatment on Bree! Last month I posted a video of me doing an ear candling service on myself and it got amazing reviews so I just wanted to do a formal video with someone who has never experienced ear candling to have a different point of view. Now in the video if you couldn't tell I was a bit nervous for some reason, Idk I have plenty of videos on YouTube but it was a different experience recording myself to do an actual service. I became a licensed esthetician just a few weeks ago however I've been doing services like this for years on myself and loved ones.
Ear candling is something that I do every 3 to 4 months to relive sinus pressure because of allergies. Ear candling gets all the extra build up from deep in your ear canal and empties your lymph in the area.
While Ear candling is a great holistic treatment doctors still will not claim or do the research to prove that it actually works instead of prescribing an ear drop to a patient. There is no ACTUAL wax in the ear candling service
Here is a snippet from WebMD on ear candling.
Buy the candles, which are hollow fabric cones soaked in wax or paraffin. They’re around 10 inches long and can cost a few dollars apiece. Cut a hole in a paper plate and stick the candle into it. This makes sure candle wax and ash don’t fall on your face.
Lie on your side. Place the candle in your ear canal. Get someone you trust to light the opposite end. Let it burn for about 15 minutes. Repeated with the other ear.
Fans say that as the candle burns, it creates a low-level suction force that pulls wax and debris out of your ear. Others believe heat from the candle melts and softens the wax, which falls out over the next few days.
When you’re done, split the candle open and check out at all the nasty stuff inside -- wax, bacteria, and debris from inside your ear.
Ear candlers believe that passages in your head are all connected. Clearing the ear canal, they say, will clean out the rest of the pathways and leave you with a clean head.

Ear wax removal should always be removed by a professional to avoid long term damage to the ear. Home attempts almost always have a negative effect by pushing ear wax further in the canal and making it more impacted – making it more difficult to remove.
